1. Shades of pink = 1 pt
2. Blue title = 2 pts
3. A handmade Hat = 3 pts
i think i covered all of them. second, this is another LO for SKETCHES 4 ALL SCRAPGIRL OF THE MONTH CONTEST challenge #2 where we are asked to add chipboards and butterflies. and lastly, for SCRAPLIFT CHALLENGE hosted by GDT for October at SKETCHES 4 ALL, Melissa O'Neil (MY LIFE WITH MY LITTLE MAN). here is my LO-

BOOK LOVER

hello everyone! it is a beautiful day here in San Diego, no rain Yay!!! i'm still under the weather but better than this past few days. in between sneezing and coughing and sleeping (don't worry i didn't sneeze or cough on my LO's LOL!)i managed to finish some LO's . this is my 3rd LO using my SCRAPBOOK NOOK OCT kit and believe me i still have a lot of LILY BEE papers. this is inspired by SKETCHES 4 ALL SCRAPGIRL OF THE MONTH CONTEST challenge #1 and i am enjoying this so much! here is my take-

YOU MAKE ME SMILE

good morning everyone! i was able to finish a LO again last night or should i say early, early this morning LOL! like most of you i like to scrap while everyone's asleep. this is my second LO from my SCRAPBOOK NOOK OCT KIT and i'm telling you the LILY BEE CATCHING FALL collections are beautiful and the JILLIBEANS corrugated shapes are my new fave. this LO is for SKETCHY THURSDAY NOV GDT challenge with a twist where they ask to use color orange and punch tool. this is also for SCRAPPING THE MUSIC featuring the song BUBBLY by Colbie Caillat. here is my take on this challenges-

SUPPLIES: PP's: Lily Bee, MME, Crate Paper. Cardstock: Recollecttions. Ink: Tim Holtz distress ink. Stickers: Crate Paper. Flowers: BasicGrey, Jillibean Corrugated shapes. Bird: Jillibean corrugated shapes. Alphas: BasicGrey Alpha stickers. Paints: Craft Smart and FolkArt acrylic paints. Others: Tattered Angels glimmer mist, Ranger Stickles, twine, ribbon bloomers, DMC floss, vibtage buttons, Jillibean sugar picks, tacky glue, foam adhesive.

i think i went stitching crazy on this one LOL! i love how they turned out though. can you see the "love" i stitched on to the photo? i love this technique although my arthritis is kicking in, my wrist is hurting from too much stitching- old age LOL! i used the same technique i used on my previous LO on the corrugated shapes- i dry brushed it, sprayed some glimmer mist, ink the edges, i added some Distress stickles on the edges, and added beautiful vintage buttons. i was heaving a hard time thinking of a good title for this one, i have a picture in my head how i want my title will be in my LO and just needed a good title to go with it. i went blog hopping and found that Bubbly by Colbie Caillat was the song of the week at SCRAPPING THE MUSIC- so i used part of the song as the title and i am very happy with it.

WONDERFUL MEMORIES

hello everyone! hope you all are having a good day so far, as for me it's 50-50. i'm still not feeling well but glad it's not raining today and a little bit of sunshine is out, i hope it gets better tomorrow and friday so we can go to pumpkin patch with the kiddos. i finished this LO last night, told you nothing can stop me from scrapping even though my whole body aches i'll still be scrapping LOL! this page is inspired by SKETCHES IN THYME challenge #19. you still have time to join us, i know you guys can whip up a Lo in less than 3 hours. i hope to see your creations at SKETCHES IN THYME. here is my take-

SUPPLIES: PP's: Recollections. Cardstock: Recollections. Ink: Tim Holtz distress ink. Embellies: Recollections, K&Company. Alphas: Making memories, K&Company. Others: ribbons, blings, felt, DMC floss, gel pens, tacky glue, foam adhesives.

this is another great shot from our camping trip last April for Easter. this four sure look like they had so much fun and they look so silly LOL! i love how my flowers turned out, i cut them out on one of the pp's from Recollections, used foam adhesive for dimensions, added bling in the center, and then cut-out some green felts for the leaves. i also cut out the owl but it was too flat so i decided to add some dimensions on it and addded the googly eyes, isn't he cute? as always, i inclued some hand-stitching. do you know i have two sewing machines but still choose to hand stitch? i just feel more crafty when i do hand-stitching and i am terrible using my sewing machine i have no idea why the thread always breaks or it gets tangled LOL! i need to get back scrapping, i want to finish more pages today. thanks for stopping by and leaving me sweet comments, i really do appreciate it. i have another good news to share with you guys soon. God bless and stay safe.

PLAY TIME

hello, it's me blogging in the middle of the night. it's been raining hard all day and i've been coughing, sneezing all day but i still went to work and now i am really sick and aching all over...but that wouldn't stop me from blogging and scrapping LOL! i finished this LO yesterday morning. this was inspired by MY MIND'S EYE BLOG CHALLENGE #16 with the sketch where they asked us to use black in the LO. i used my MME's COMPLETE BOY paper pack and LIFE STORIES 12" KRAFT cardstocks. so here is my take-

SUPPLIES: PP's : My MInd's Eyes, Tim Holtz. Cardstock: Recollections. Ink: Tim Holtz distress ink. Stamp: Autumn Leaves Clear stamps. Others: yarn, zig calligraphy pen, brads, DMC floss, Tacky glue, Recollections foam adhesive.

i free hand the letters using the MME's pps and used foam adhesive to add dimensions. i cut out the circles from the MME's Life Stories Kraft cardstock and i even used the cover of the cardstock pack/label. this is Joseph with her lego blocks this photo is recent. i added some journaling, i asked joseph what are the things or who are the people he loves and used his answers for journaling.
hope you like. I hope the weather will be better so i can get better. have a wonderful Wednesday.

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

hello everyone! happy sunday to all of you! finally finished another LO using my SCRAPBOOK NOOK Sept kit. i know, i'm so late using this kit i still have my Oct kit waiting for me. i just LOVE, LOVE the CRATE PAPER RESTORATION collection. i love the colors, the patterns, and most of all the vintage feel of it... beautiful collection! I made this LO using CRATE PAPER THE SKETCH CHALLENGE_ OCTOBER EDITION 2010. Miss Emily Pitts the CP Sketch contributor did an amazing job on the sketch she provided this month and i just love it. here is my take on her sketch-

SUPPLIES: SCRAPBOOK NOOK Sept KIt- PP's: Crate Paper Restoration Collection. Kraft: MME's. Cardstock: Bazil Basics. Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Stickers: Crate Paper. Chipboards: CRate Paper. Embellies: Jillibean Corrugated Cardboard shapes, Crate papers vintage buttons, K&Company. Alphas: BasicGrey, Making Memories. Others: Twine, DMC floss, Ranger Stickles, Smart Craft acrylic paints, Tattered Angels Glimmer mist, Gel pens, Tacky Glue, Recollections foam adhesive.

i altered the sketch a little bit, instead of using squares i used circles and dropped the numbers from 16 to 9 circles. i did all the hand-stitching on each circles and Jylian's name and 2010 on Jylian's photo. lots of cutting, distressing, and inking as usual. i was so happy to have capture Jylian smiling because she is always on the move and like DIVA she doesn't want her pictures taken. i forgot, i also tried Lucy Edson's technique of printing photos on patterned paper although i only used printed paper with a very subtle print on it and i didn't have gesso on hand- see the two smaller photos of Jylian?
i hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed creating it. have a wonderful day and God Bless!

hello! how are you all doing today? hope you all have a beautiful day. well, here i am with another LO to share with you. this is inspired by SKETCHABILITIES current sketch. i flipped the sketch for fun. this is, i think, the 3rd LO i made using the CRAZY DAISY KIT and i still have a lot of papers, stickers, and embellies left over. i think i've scrapped this photos before but in a smaller size and want to scrap again just because LOL! here is my LO-

Supplies: PP's: Crate Paper, Scribble Scrabble, Making Memories. Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Alphas: American Crafts Thickers, BasicGrey Alpha Stickers. Punch: EK Success. Stickers: Jillibean. Chipboards: Crate Paper. Embellies: K&Company. Others: Flowers, Stickles, gel pens, markers, DMC floss, vintage brad and pin, tacky glue, recollections foam adhesive.

i made the center of the small felt flowers using the pieces of bracelet i bought at 99cents store and glue pearls in the center, aren't they adorable?! Thanks for stopping by. i will try to make another LO before going to work. God bless!
