CHILDREN ARE A GIFT FROM GOD

good afternoon everyone! OMG! it is HOT here in Escondido, 108 degF!!! Unbelievable! i'm staying inside with the AC on and will be scrapping all day LOL! no way i'm going out there. anyways, i finished another LO. i've been having fun again with Nikki Sivils papers and one of my fave is the Willow Bee collection and honestly, i haven't had the chance to get the newer collections because of a very tight budget and i really need to finished up my stash first before buying new ones. As much as i want to buy the new products that are being released i can't right now because we are saving to buy our first house. this LO is for THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS and for these challenge they want us to incorporate our favorite poem. i had a few ones i really like, and one of them is Sandra Tolson's "Children are a Gift from God" and as mother of three wonderful blessings this poem is really close to my heart. this LO is also inspired by SKETCHES IN THYME challenge #16 sketch design by Miss Helen Croft.

here is my take-

these are my kiddos, from L to R- joseph, justin, and jylian. this photo was taken last June. and here are some close-ups -

Supplies: PP's: Nikki Sivils Willow Bee & Flaming Butterfly. Background: MME's 12" Kraft cardstock. Cardstock: Recollections. Ink: Tim Holtz Distress ink. Alphas: BasicGrey Kioshi and Origin. Buttons: cardstock buttons from Chip Chop Shop including the white twine. Other: bling, DMC floss,Black gel pen, Recollections pop-dots.

here is the poem-

Children Are A Gift From God
by Sandra Tolson

God sent me three packages
That needed special care
"Take care of these tiny gifts
For they are very rare."

"Watch over them with all your love
And let them feel your touch
Take care of their every need
For you are needed very much."

"These gifts will grow up very fast
As you soon will see
Love them with all your heart
And let them be what they will be."

"When these gifts have fully grown
Look at Heaven up above
Know they exist because of God
And all his precious love."

i hope you all have a wonderful day and God bless. thank you again for stopping by.
