SUMMER FUN- ARTFUL DELIGHT SKETCH #11

Hello everyone! it's been a very stressful day this week. i went back to work Monday and sometimes i wish i could just stay home with my kids. when i had my whole month vacation, i stayed home taking care of my kids and my DH and it's the best feeling ever- being a mommy and a good wife. i wish i can just work at home :( enough of that- i'm still lucky though that i'm able to squeeze in some time to scrap. i have a few LO's i wanted to share with you and all of them are inspired by ARTFUL DELIGHT's 14 Days of Sketches. this first LO is my take on sketch #11. i also used my ARTFUL DELIGHT May kit which is just AWESOME! love it! here is the LO-

MY SCRAPBOOK NOOK MAY VIRTUAL CROP ROCKS!!!

the last time i joined in MY SCRAPBOOK NOOK virtual crop i only did a few challenges but this time i tried my best to do as much as i can. 12 LO's and 3 cards in total...so proud of myself. although the virtual crop started on Thursday, i wasn't able to scrap until Friday night but i had tons and tons of fun. the NOOK DT"s did an AWESOME job hosting the challenges. thank you so much MY SCRAPBOOK NOOK for all the inspiration and because of your challenges i know now that i can do a LO in less than 30 mins LOL! here are the LO's and cards i created-

unfortunately, my vacation is over and today is my first day back to work :(

i love BASIC GREY Wander collection- love the colors and design and it was perfect for this next project i finished using ARTFUL DELIGHT's May sketch challenge. this is my DH and DS last February on one of the rides at Legoland. look at those faces LOL! you can really tell they had so much fun.

YOU 2 ARE DINO-MITE TOGETHER- ARTFUL DELIGHT

OMG! so blogger was out almost the whole day yesterday. i posted four of my LO's earlier that day and i don't see them anymore! i guess i just have to re-post them and link them again. i'm just glad blogger is up and running again.
so let me start with this LO inspired by ARTFUL DELIGHT's 14 Days of Sketches challenge. i used my IMAGINISCE Dino-roar collection. here is sketch#8- i'm so glad to used these papers and i'm challenging myself not to buy anymore scrapbooking supply for the next month then if i'm able to do that i'll set the goal to 2 months and so on. i do get my monthly kits from MY SCRAPBOOK NOOK & ARTFUL DELIGHT and i think that is more than enough. sometimes i'll have my kit and barely use it because i have other stuff that i bought. oh goodness gracious pray for me on this one!

made this layout in less than an hour- love it when those magic moments happens just wish they happen all the time LOL! i made my own twine lollipop flower with the buttons on the center. i also made the folded and swirl flower. super simple and super fast! thanks again for visiting my blog. Miss Leeanne is providing a sketch everyday from May 1st until May 14th that's 14 sketches in all and all we have to do is play along as much as we can and we can have the chance to win ARTFUL DELIGHT's May kit full of ECHO PARK Summer Day collection. this LO is inspired by sketch #3, i flipped the sketch and used square instead of the circle on the background-

MY NIKKI SIVILS GDT SUBMISSION- A LAYOUT & A CARD

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL!!! i wish you all have a wonderful day spending time with all your love ones. i hope you all had a very creative National Scrapbooking Day yesterday and also Happy Nurse's week to all the Nurses!!! talk about triple celebration, i should demand 3 separate gifts then because they all apply to me LOL!
i also wanted to say that i am very proud to my fellow countrymen and huge Congratulations to Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao for defending & winning his title against Sugar Shane Mosley last night at Las Vegas. Way to go MANNY PACQUIAO!!! Proud to be PINOY!!!
now, let me share you my submission for NIKKI SIVILS GDT Contest. i used both of the card & layout sketch that was designed by the very talented Miss Anam Stubbington and here are my take-
on this card i used my older NIKKI SIVILS collection, the Flaming Butterfly, and used the very cute burlap buttons as the center of my handmade flower. this is for my Aunt for Mother's day.
and yes i even did the inside-
and next is this layout using a combination of Sugar Cookie and Max & Mollie collection. perfect for my sweet little Jylian's photos.
somi did lots of fussy cutting, layering, added some bling, and added the burlap buttons again on my handmade flowers. i had so much fun spending more time scrapping yesterday i have 4 more LO's i finished and hopefully i will have the time to share them with you today. have a great day!
