Design Dollies Colour Challenge

finally finished a layout! i don't know what it is but lately i haven't been in the mood to scrap but i got to finished this layout. this is for the Design Dollies Colour Challenge- blue, brown, green, and white/ivory. And yes, this is my first time to join their challenge or any blog challenge so I'm really excited. this is a photo of my dear husband and two dear son was taken sometime in 2008 when we went to Universal Studio Hollywood.(i really need to remember dates or start labeling photos)

for some close-up look here are additional photos. i like adding dimensions to my layout using lots of pop-up dots and layering. i used my cricut to cut the words "cherish"and "together" and used white gel paint to add some distressing on the edge of the letters.

i made the lollipop flowers using the same papers i used in the layout and fabrics- for the bottom layer i cut the circle using scallop scissors and for the middle layers i cut two circles out of fabric one is bigger than the other and stitch their edges. i placed a smaller paper circle on top and placed a brad to hold them together. also did a lot of distressing and inking in this layout.
