LESSOLOGY CHALLENGE- BIRDS OF A FEATHER-

I have another layout for another great challenge. I love LESSOLOGY

challenges, I just wish i could join them as much as I can.

This time I did and love the challenge Birds of a Feather-

to use a bird or a birdcage &/or both in your  project and to include one recycled item.

I have a lot of bird embellies but the one that really caught my eye this time

was my JILLIBEAN SOUP Spotted Owl papers with cute party owls in them.

For my recycled item, i used a Jillibean packaging for their corrugated shapes-

here is my take in the challenge-

      This photo was taken last February, my DH birthday. I cut out all the little cute owls and added some

silly eyes on some of them. This was a fun layout to create.

2011 - ARTFUL DELIGHT KIT & OUAS SEPT 1ST SKETCH

Hi there my dear blogger friends! i hope you had a great weekend like me and even though i was sick for a couple days, my allergy was soooo bad :( good thing i'm all better now, i was able to finish seven layouts and two cards! especially yesterday after we went to the church, we watched football games all day with my dear hubby and at the same time i was scrapbooking. And because my last altered record was a hit hehehehe... i was so inspired to make another one using again my ARTFUL DELIGHT September kit. this layout was inspired by ONCE UPON A SKETCH September 1st sketch with the journaling Criteria : A memorable year - Your title must be a year, and you must journal at least 2 lines on why this year is memorable for you.

here is my layout-

indeed, we've been very lucky to spend more quality time with our kids this year. my days off are not always the same so we really have to plan everything ahead of time and thankfully my work approved all my extra days off :D. camping out has been our family's favorite thing to do this year- spring, summer, or fall we go camping LOL!

SUPER COOL KID - ARTFUL DELIGHT & CREATIVE SCRAPPERS #172

Hi there! hope you're having a wonderful day so far. the week is almost over, again, already! i have a new layout to share with you today. this one is inspired by CREATIVE SCRAPPERS sketch #172 and of course i am in my 3rd layout using my ARTFUL DELIGHT September kit.

so without further ado, here it is-

oh, yes i finally used one of the old records i purchased at Goodwill. and i think i love how it turned out. i also have a cricut i purchased 3 years ago and i finally used it, too LOL! i used it to cut the super cute stars and i think i'll dust it off and use it more often now.

my dearest son, Joseph, love this layout so much so he was more than willing to hold it for me so i can take a picture of it and also wanted to have his picture taken holding the layout.

i love it when my kids think i make cool things LOL!

SWEET - ARTFUL DELIGHT KIT
