Hello here i am again with a new DT project to show you. since it is the beginning of the month that means we have a new movie poster inspiration for you over at FROM SCREEN TO SCRAP and let me tell you i love, love the movie poster we have this month. February's inspirations will come from the movie posters "Valentine's Day". here is the poster-

and added criteria for an extra 6 Bonus Points are the following-
1) Black background = 1pt
2) Use the word 'Valentine' on your layout = 2pts
3) A large heart shape = 3pts
What a perfect challenge with Valentine's Day being celebrated this month!!!
Please email your layouts compressed/resized for web viewing to (she is our wonderful lady boss!)
Entries for 'Valentine's Day' will close Saturday 26th February at midnight.
this one should be an easy peasy for you!
and here is my take-

this is me and my eldest son, Justin, i cannot believe i have an 11yr old already! where did the yrs go? he is growing too fast but i always tell him he still my baby :D
i used Jenni Bowlin's heart shaped chipboard and cover it with an old music sheet, inked it on the edge with Tim Holtz distress ink. i love how it turned out. i also handmade the flowers and place a pearl in the center.
by now, i think you already know that i love hand stitching on my LO's and here i decided to stitch part of the title which i think turned out great. at first i was bit hesitant to use the red thread against black because i thought it wouldn't show as much but i think it looks good. don't you think so?

i hope you like it and why don't you hop on to FROM SCREEN TO SCRAP challenge blog and pay us a visit, say HI, get inspired and join in the fun this month. if it's your first time and decided to play along with us , don't forget to mention i sent you so i can get some cookie points LOL! and you really need to check out what the other DT's amazing creations using this months poster. did i mention that we always draw more than one winner every month? well, if you want to be one of the lucky winners click HERE to see the full challenge details and all the great prizes you can win!
