hello again! here is my other short post for today. this LO is inspired by STUCK FEB 1ST sketch. i love the simplicity of the sketch and lately I've enjoying quick and simple, minimal LO's but still with lots of dimensions and layers. this photo was taken last Feb 6 my mommy's birthday. my kids call her mommy olive instead of grandma and my mo love it LOL!here is my take-

hi peeps! i've been trying to finish a lot of my projects today while my mojo is up and running LOL! here is one i finished for SCRAP-IT-LAH February challenge- to make a layout (12x12 or 8.5x11) with a lovey-dovey theme WITHOUT USING ANY REDS OR PINKS OR ANY SHADE OF THE TWO COLOURS.what a challenge i tell you, but i've done it before so it was an easy one for me. here is my take- and some close ups-

i made that flower and i love making it. you know what that means you'll probably see it again in my next few LO's LOL!that's it for now. i have a couple more LO to share with you. so please come back again soon :D

this was an older photo of me and my dear hubby. I've been wanting to scrap this photo and I'm so happy i finally did it! the title is from the SAVAGE GARDENS song Truly, Madly, Deeply one of our favorite love songs and i think it's so perfect because this is how in love i am with my DH until now LOL! i made the flowers, i think you've seen them before on my other LO's. these flowers are my fave flowers to make because they are super easy to make and they really add a lot of dimension in my LO's.

hello everyone! i hope you all had a wonderful weekend like i did. Superbowl is over and the halftime show was amazing! Go Packers Go! since my first love San Diego Chargers is not playing i had to go with my third love Greenbay Packers (my second love is Indianapolis Colts).
Enough of football, let's go into more serious things here LOL! don't you just love the February and this LOVE challenges? i feel so inlove and so inspired scrapping me and my hubby's photo :) here is a new LO i finished last night using my BASICGREY origin and Kioshi collection. i created this LO for two challenges-
1. SKETCHES4ALL- Stacy H-W's LOVE SONG Challenge for the Valentines Decor & Blog Hop to make a paper craft (layout, card, tag, re-purposed item etc.) inspired by a LOVE SONG. my song "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain.
2. Just Us Girls + Want2Scrap = JUGs#70 Sketch. i just found them and already in love with their challenges:D

i also wanted to share with you a tag and a card i created for the SKETCHES4ALL challenges.this tag is for Michelle H.'s 3rd week Valentine Tag challenge where she wants to see some fussy cut at least two items on your tag, some kind of distressing on the tag, and of course it has to be a Valentine theme tag!

and this card is for Fia's Pre-challenge for Valentine decor and blog hop- to create a Valentine's card and she wants to see some bling, flower, stamp, heart and the use of a punch. and this card is also for Stacy H-W's February 1st Card Challenge- using a sketch from pagemap and using only the colors pink and grey.

Hello here i am again with a new DT project to show you. since it is the beginning of the month that means we have a new movie poster inspiration for you over at FROM SCREEN TO SCRAP and let me tell you i love, love the movie poster we have this month. February's inspirations will come from the movie posters "Valentine's Day". here is the poster-

and added criteria for an extra 6 Bonus Points are the following-
1) Black background = 1pt
2) Use the word 'Valentine' on your layout = 2pts
3) A large heart shape = 3pts

this is me and my eldest son, Justin, i cannot believe i have an 11yr old already! where did the yrs go? he is growing too fast but i always tell him he still my baby :D
i used Jenni Bowlin's heart shaped chipboard and cover it with an old music sheet, inked it on the edge with Tim Holtz distress ink. i love how it turned out. i also handmade the flowers and place a pearl in the center.
by now, i think you already know that i love hand stitching on my LO's and here i decided to stitch part of the title which i think turned out great. at first i was bit hesitant to use the red thread against black because i thought it wouldn't show as much but i think it looks good. don't you think so?
