A CARD & A LAYOUT FOR THE STUDIO CHALLENGE

hello everyone! just a quick post for this one. trying to get this card and layout link before the deadline. Yikes! this is for THE STUDIO card challenge- use a photo in a card. here is my take using some leftovers of my March ARTFUL DELIGHT kit. i use the photo of a cupcake my cousin made for my nephews birthday. i used LO-FI to make it vintage looking and printed in matte photo paper. i love how it turned out- this next one is for THE STUDIO sketch challenge with the twist using ruffles. i used my March NOOK kit on this one. i love Emma Shoppe by CRATE PAPERS.   this is me with my good friends/co-workers taken last December on our company Christmas party. i applied a thin layer of acrylic paint on the background to add interest, i also did some stitching, and i made the green ribbon flower. that's it for now. time for me to link it up. thank you for stopping by. have a great day! hugs and lots of love, isay :D

MY GIRL- NOOK KIT AND PAGEMAP

finally had the chance to open and play with my NOOK kit and i must say they have done a fantabulous job again putting together the March kit. this is my first layout using this kit and this is inspired by PAGEMAP Webster Pages Sketch contest. here is my take- i used the LO-FI program once again to edit my dear daughter's photo. i love how this turned out the colors of the CRATE PAPER's Emma collection is just beautiful. that is it for me today. gotta get ready for work. hope you enjoy all my post for today. have a great week and God bless. hugs and lots of love, isay :D

A REAL FRIEND- ARTFUL DELIGHT KIT

another quick post sharing my last layout using ARTFUL DELIGHT March kit. can you believe i created 8 layout using 1 kit? i really love this kit, the colors are my fave green and blue together. this inspired by another YOUR SCRAPBOOK STASH sketch for their sketch challenge using Jan 7th sketch. here is my take- a lot of fussy cutting and stamping on this one. whew! one more layout to share so please stay tuned LOL! hugs and lots of love, isay :D

11TH CAKE ALREADY!?- ARTFUL DELIGHT KIT

here is another layout using the ARTFUL DELIGHT March kit. this is also inspired by YOUR SCRAPBOOK STASH sketch challenge- this time i used the sketch from Jan 29. i how this one turned out- Yes, this is my eldest son, Justin, and he's 11 already!? where did the years go? i'm very proud of him. i really enjoyed creating with this months ARTFUL DELIGHT kit. i think i used almost everything still have a few bits and pieces maybe i'll start making cards out of them i have a couple more layouts to share with you that i'll be posting after this one. thanks again for stopping by. hugs and lots of love, isay :D

TOGETHER FAMILY- YSS SKETCH CHALLENGE

hi there! here is another layout i finished inspired by another YOUR SCRAPBOOK STASH sketch. i used the Feb 18 sketch- i heart this simple sketch and so i thought I'd try making an 8 x 11 layout and i am also submitting this for SCRAPBOOKERS ANONYMOUS March challenge- to use a minimum of 7 flowers, the premade kind, not homemade. i had fun creating this one. here is my take-  this is my dearest friends family and i'll be putting it in a frame and give it to them as a gift.i think i'll be doing many more 8 x 11 layouts. it was nice to finally use some of the leftovers i had from last years kit and so happy to be able to use this Prima flowers i had for a long time LOL! i think i have 13 premade flowers used here maybe more. i hope you all enjoy it and thanks again for stopping by. have a great Tuesday! SHOW THOSE MUSCLES- 3.24 SKETCHY THURSDAY

happy Monday!!! just a quick post for today. here is one of the six layout i finished over the weekend. this is inspired by SKETCHY THURSDAYS 3.24 sketch and i used my March ARTFUL DELIGHT kit once again and believe it or not this is my 6th LO using the kit- i really love it! i even used the packaging of the Jillibean corrugated alphas- i cut out the black alphas printed on the packaging ( word "muscles"). here is the layout with some close ups- my husband asked me "are you really going to post that in your blog?" and i answered "yes, why?" he just walked away and scratching his head. LOL! you probably thinking muscles? where? LOL! i love scrapping funny pictures it's a great inspiration to start a happy page. that's it for me today. have a great week and God bless.

FUN DAY- ARTFUL DELIGHT MARCH KIT & YSS SKETCH CHALLENGE

here is my 5th layout i finished using ARTFUL DELIGHT MARCH kit. this is also inspired by YOUR SCRAPBOOK STASH Sketch challenge using half of the double pager Feb 11 sketch. this was a pretty quick layout. here it is-
this photo of my dear hubby and son, Joseph, was taken last Feb 13 at Legoland while waiting for the ride to take off. the LYB Twig collection and JILLIBEAN Spotted Owl Soup collection is a perfect fair. i covered with patterned paper the owl and top of the tree chipboard and just love how it turned out. hope you enjoy it. thanks again for stopping by again. COUSINS- YOUR SCRAPBOOK STASH SKETCH CHALLENGE

ok last post for today LOL! another layout inspired by YOUR SCRAPBOOK STASH sketch challenge using January 20 sketch. i flipped the sketch 90 degrees to the left and love this simple sketch. if you would like to view the sketch and full detail of challenge- click HERE. once again i used my JILLIBEAN SOUP papers combining both Pasta Fagioli and Egg Drop Soup collection. here is my layout- this is my Joseph and my dear nephew, Tyler, photos taken last New years Eve. just something simple using my new faves JILLIBEAN journaling sprouts. i cut out some banners and stitched them sideways, love how it turned out.

GREAT NEWS AND MY CUTIE PIE!!!

now i wanted to share with you this layout i created using NIKKI SIVILS Max and Mollie paper collection. i wanted to play with the papers and didn't want to hoard them this time so i just dive right in and cut and paste LOL! here is my sweet baby girl, Jylian, smiling but not looking at the camera...oh i'm telling you this little girl its so hard to take pictures of her. here is Max and Mollie badge and my layout- i just love NIKKI SIVILS papers! i think you all know that by now LOL! so far i have their 4 new paper line- (Max and Mollie, It's your day, It's raining It's pouring, and We are Family) and still saving for the other two new ones (Summer and Beatrice) :D you know why i love NIKKI SIVILS papers so much? it's because they are so easy to work with really all you need is a starting point like a sketch and then all i do is cut and paste. i did a lot of fussy cutting in my layout and i even made my stamped butterflies, i stitched the circles, and i know it's hard to see but i used my glossy accent on some of the cut outs here, too. thanks again for stopping by my blog. i am blessed to have met a lot of wonderful people eversince i started blogging. IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY- SKETCHY THURSDAYS 3.17 SKETCH

hi there again! i was soooo lucky to have the ARTFUL DELIGHT MARCH kit i just love this kit! here is my 3rd layout using this kit. this one is inspired by SKETCHY THURSDAYS 3.17 sketch challenge. great sketch and beautiful JILLIBEAN papers from the kit! here is my take-almost everything here is from the kit except for the black cardstock i used as my base, the splattered pain, white gel pen,and the white string. lots of fussy cutting again with the cutie owls and banners. i used lots of pop dots for dimension. again, i know it's hard to see but i've been in love with glossy accent and have been using them like crazy- i used it on the all the owls eyes and to the green alpha stickers. i am really enjoying this fabulous kit from ARTFUL DELIGHT! Congratulations Miss Leeanne, owner of ARTFUL DELIGHT, for doing such a fabulous job in compiling a great kit!

KARAOKE NIGHTS - FAVE PASTIMES

hello my dear friends. sorry for being MIA for the past few days. i am just too busy with a lot of other things. anyhow, the new challenge over at THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVE THINGS is up. this week we want you to scrap about your FAVE PASTIMES! i had soooo much fun creating this one. i used JILLIBEAN Pasta Fagioli paper collection. here is my fave pastime KARAOKE NIGHTS!!! LOL! love these papers from JILLIBEAN- the colors are just so yummy! and the journaling sprouts are great. i used some of bakers twine, did some stitching- i stitched the word "karaoke" and i just love how it turned out. the color of the embroidery floss is perfect for this paper collection. i also created my own swirl flowers and banners.

this are my babies together with my mom on her 50+ birthday last February she didn't want me to tell her age LOL! Even though this LILY BEE papers has a Christmas theme i was still able to use it for a non-Christmas layout and i just love it's versatility.

TIMELESS BLISS- SKETCHY THURSDAY 2.24 SKETCH

i've been busy today trying to finish up some projects and assignments and i am not even half way done. i thought i'd take a break from DT assignments and decided to do a LO for SKETCHY THURSDAY 2.24 sketch challenge. i missed last weeks deadline and this week i barely finish this LO and just a few hours to link it. so without further ado here is my take on the sketch using my Feb NOOK kit-
this was quick LO did it in less than an hour i wish i could scrap that fast all the time. lots of fussy cutting and layering. most of the supplies i used here are from Feb NOOK kit full of beautiful WEBSTER PAGES. some of the other supplies are the purple rhinestones i ordered from PIZZAZ APLENTY, Heide Grace epoxy stickers, tulle and string of pearls from my stash.

THE PUMPKIN PATCH- FROM SCREEN TO SCRAP MARCH CHALLENGE

Good morning everyone! it's March already! and we have a great new challenge for you over at FROM SCREEN TO SCRAP. this months inspiration will come from the movie poster "VERTIGO" and here is my take with my silly Jylian's photo-and we have a few added criteria for an extra 6 Bonus Points1) Orange background = 1pt
2) A black silhouette figure (person) on your layout = 2pts
3) A spirograph shape or swirl on your layout = 3pts
you have until midnight of March 29th to email your layouts compressed/resized for web viewing to shazzaalleyes@hotmail.com. i can't wait to see what you come up with this great inspiration
as you can see i got the orange background, the silhouette figure, and the spirograph flowers. i didn't have a spirograph on hand to make my own but i found this great spirograph images online and printed them out on a kraft paper, cut them out, and thought it would be a great flower. what do you think? don't they look lovely? and i got the idea of scallop punch work from my dear friend, the talented LG BELARMINO- check out her tutorial HERE.
